Electronics multinational Royal Philips Electronics has published its report on last year’s CSR activities and its commitments for the future – which include investing an extra Euro 100 million in developing green lighting technologies over coming years.

The company, an industry leader in energy efficient lightbulbs, has already invest Euro 400 million in this area over the last decade and plans to expand the research programme.

The report also shows that the company has completed ethical supply chain audits of 98% of its highest risk suppliers and runs healthcare projects in Africa and the Indian sub-continent.
