Applied Sweepers moves into ‘next generation’

Applied Sweepers recently introduced the new Applied 424 'Hi-Speed' model. These "next generation" machines can utilise a 16kmph transit speed to travel independently and reach congested sweeping locations quickly. They can then be used on site in their "walk-behind" mode, before moving on to the next location.

The new 424 is fitted with a fully adjustable automotive style sprung seat, adjustable height handles, adjustable height footplate, independent rear wheel suspension, hydraulic front nozzle lift and hydraulic “tilt-lock” to provide high speed transit stability with maximum operator comfort and control, states Applied Sweepers.

A new high feature control console with dual drive levers and central control bar allows for tighter turns. The “stop-on-release” drive system is a safety requirement for machine use within a road traffic environment.

The new Applied 424 series of machines comes in both the “HS” Hi-Speed and “TR” standard speed models. Both machines can be fitted with the “all weather” cab attachment to enhance operator comfort and weather protection. All 424 models can be converted quickly to walk-behind.
