npower to cut carbon at NEMEX

Visitors to the NEMEX arena of Sustainabilitylive will have the chance to learn about the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) and cut their carbon footprint.

Power firm npower will be offering free advice to visitors on how to succeed under the CRC and the financial and reputational benefits of taking early action.

With the CRC live from April, two weeks before the start of the show at Birmingham’s NEC from April 20 to 22, it’s the perfect chance to make sure your business is compliant.

npower’s ‘m3’ programme has been designed to guide businesses on an ‘energy management journey’ focused on cost, energy and CO2 savings.

A spokeswoman said: “This includes encompass professional a monitoring tool that analyses energy in detail and combines this with company production levels and weather patterns to calculate future usage.

“This information is then used to devise strategies to reduce consumption, costs and carbon.

“The ability to calculate future energy use and emissions will be a huge benefit to companies in the CRC.

Various members of npower’s team are talking at the show and they will also be available to talk in person on stand P15.
