VIDEO: Sustainability Live 2015 opens under NEW edie brand

Sustainability Live 2015 is officially open, with industry experts from Kingfisher, M&S and DHL among those giving talks at the brand new high-level conference later today. And edie has just announced some exciting news...

The great and the good of the sustainability sector have descended upon the NEC Birmingham  for the three-day event, which has partnered with edie for the launch of the all-new Sustainability Live Conference, sitting alongside the established NEMEX – The National Energy Managers Exhibition – and Energy Recovery – the exhibition for energy recovery technologies and services.

Big news…

edie told you last week we had a secret. And now we can finally let the cat out of the bag with our exciting news…

Many of you will already be familiar with edie.net – you may be one of the 35,000 sustainability, energy and environment professionals that receive our daily or weekly newsletter which include in-depth feature articles, exclusive reports and webinars.

You may have a listing in our supplier directory, a banner ad campaign, or use our tailored email service. Or you may sponsor one of our webinars, conferences or bespoke marketing solutions.

What you may not know, however, is that edie is delivered by the same team that brings you Sustainability Live, NEMEX and Energy Recovery.

So… In order to leverage the power of edie’s unrivalled audience engagement, we are delighted to reveal that from today (21 April), we will be bringing our entire energy and sustainability portfolio under one, new-look brand – edie.

VIDEO: edie – join the dots

Our website, conferences, awards and – not least – our exhibitions, will all be linked in a way they never have been before: under one, unified, year-round brand. As of next year, Sustainability Live, NEMEX and Energy Recovery will become edie 2016.

What does this mean for you? It means a better website (we are preparing to launch under a completely new look later this year), and better show.

edie 2016  will explore new topics which are core to our audience such as resource efficiency, the circular economy, water management and an even stronger focus on innovation and emerging technology.

We will be integrating content on the website and exhibition – no other sustainability exhibition in the UK can offer this year-round, integrated, multi-platform audience engagement.

That’s all for now. We hope you have a very enjoyable and profitable exhibition and look forward to meeting you all over the course of the three days – we’re on stand K50.
