Christmas may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it is also the most wasteful.

According to the Love Food Hate Waste campaign run by WRAP, we throw out the equivalent of two million turkeys, five million Christmas puddings and a shocking 74 million mince pies each year.

And the environmental concerns of the season don’t stop there. Christmas trees, wrapping paper, cards and even Christmas jumpers all cause huge amounts of waste once the festive season is over for another year.
