This report investigates what must happen next to accelerate this transition. This 18-page study includes commentary by chief executive of Barratt Developments, David Thomas, and Willmott Dixon’s chief executive Rick Willmott.

It looks at the five Mission Possible campaign pillars of Energy, Resources, Mobility, The Built Environment, and Business Leadership. These five sections begin with an overview of current progress; then looks to the future; and concludes with an exploration of how construction firms can take new approaches to drive sustainability.

The report is the fifth that has been inspired by Mission Possible – edie’s new purpose-driven campaign for 2018 which is empowering businesses to ramp up efforts across all areas of sustainable development. Previous reports have looked at achieving a sustainable future in manufacturing, retail, food & drink manufacturing, and the public sector.
