2020 Playbook: edie launches career-boosting guide for energy and sustainability professionals

The Playbook is available for all edie readers to download as a 14-page

Produced collaboratively by members of edie’s 30 Under 30 ‘Class of 2019’, the exclusive resource provides an array of tips on transforming the culture of a business; maximising the impacts of key projects; engaging key stakeholders and maintaining team morale – all while boosting your own wellbeing.

It is laid out in an easy-to-follow, 10-point format and is designed with a broad demographic in mind – from graduates seeking their first role in the field, to established practitioners, to those exploring a career change.

No matter how long readers have been employed in the field, the Playbook emphasises how opportunities to continue learning and honing key skills on the road to a more sustainable future can always be created.

The Playbook is available for all edie readers to download as a 14-page, interactive PDF. In addition to the 10-point guide, the document contains links to useful resources, inspirational quotes from members of the 30 Under 30 Class of 2019, and insight from our 30 Under 30 partners Global Action Plan, the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) and the University of Birmingham.

“The 30 Under 30 Class of 2019 embodies everything that’s great about our profession; they’re thoughtful, innovative and committed and they want change,” ICRS chair Anita Longley said. “In the space of one day, they produced this Playbook detailing the skills and expertise needed to deliver its key facets. This collective knowledge and energy should be harnessed as we navigate our way towards a more sustainable world.”
