Environmental Information

Commission v Ireland

The European Court of Justice has held that Ireland has failed to adopt the necessary laws, regulations and administrative provisions to comply with Directive 2003/4/EC on access to environmental information, and as such has failed to fulfil its obligations under Article 10 of that Directive.

Ireland stated that it was in the process of transposing the Directive.
