Net-Zero Accelerators: People and Processes

Last updated: 18th January 2022

edie is publishing a mini-series of reports focused on the net-zero transition through the lens of energy and sustainability professionals based on exclusive conversations with our Net-Zero Leaders Club. For the final installment, people and processes.

The SPARK! Net-Zero Action Workshops event is the flagship annual gathering for edie’s Net-Zero Leaders Club, which sparks new ideas and actions on the road to net-zero carbon emissions. Hosted as part of edie’s Net-Zero November campaign of content and events, this full-day event created the time and space for energy and sustainability changemakers to connect, collaborate and seize the moment of net-zero.

Throughout the day, experts representing a range of sectors took part in high-level roundtables, each covering a different element of the energy transition for businesses. The key takeaways have been summarised in a miniseries of short, free-to-download reports.

Whether it’s securing boardroom buy-in, rolling out behaviour change initiatives, or implementing more efficient organisational processes – your people can represent one of the most complicated challenges when it comes to decarbonising business. So, what are the biggest drivers, challenges and opportunities when it comes to accelerating the transition to net-zero emissions through people, behaviours and industry processes in 2022?

This mini-report, published in assistance with JRP Solutions looks to answer that question and also features and expert viewpoint from the company’s director George Richards.
