International news agency Reuters is set to power its West Country offices with 100% renewable energy from a local wind farm.
Reuters’ energy supplier, Opus Energy, will purchase electricity from Cornwall Light and Power to supply the offices in Devon and Cornwall.
Julia Fuller, Reuters’ corporate responsibility manager, said environmental issues are a priority for the firm, and it wanted to give back to the local community by buying local.
