Senegal plans to stop CFC use by 2001
Senegal plans to reduce CFC use by 85% by the end of this year, and phase it out altogether by 2001.
The country is about to start campaigns to collect and recycle used refrigerants, and to educate people about the dangers of CFC gases from fridges.
