The Source for Business service launched yesterday (October 14) at the Business South West event, Exeter, to offer companies across the region with tailored water, sewerage and environmental advice to help them make cost savings by implementing water efficiency measures.
It will also offer trade effluent management and laboratory services, as well as a range of online billing and account services to suit individual business needs. Many of these services will also be available to customers outside of the SWW region.
Commenting on the service, SWW head of business development David Roberts said: “We support more than 5,000 jobs in our region and invest £140m a year with thousands of suppliers. We also have a strong track record when it comes to working with our business customers to reduce their water usage and their costs.
“We are launching the Source for Business brand to demonstrate our commitment to helping businesses across all sectors. Through the Source for Business team, South West Water will now deliver extra value to more customers through an expanded range of business-to-business services.”
Source for Business will also offer advice and project management for new treatment installations and infrastructure improvements.
