Sustainability Uncovered: edie launches brand-new podcast season
After six years of broadcasting more than 200 episodes, edie’s award-winning content team are re-launching the brand’s flagship sustainability podcast, with an updated show title, new music, new episode formats and a shiny new podcast studio to boot.
Sustainability Uncovered, hosted in association with Lloyds Bank, is the evolution of edie’s long-running Sustainable Business Covered podcast. The subtle name change serves to highlight how the revamped show will bring a fresh look and feel to climate podcasting, by uncovering some of most inspiring and insightful sustainability and climate action stories from across the globe.
Whether you’re a business leader, climate expert, environmental professional, youth activist, or just someone with a passion for all things sustainability and climate action – this podcast is for you. The first episode aired today (Thursday 20 October) and can be listened to here.
What are the climate stories and announcements that really matter? What breakthrough innovations and ambitious business initiatives could genuinely accelerate the transition to a net-zero carbon, circular economy? And who’ll take home the coveted Big Fat Sustainability Uncovered Quiz of the Year trophy?
The Sustainability Uncovered podcast makes the big climate issues bite-sized, with themed episodes featuring live-in-the-studio guests, leader interviews, need-to-know round-ups, listener quizzes and more – all wrapped up into bi-weekly episodes under an hour in length.

The podcast is hosted in association with Lloyds Bank, which has partnered with edie to showcase and support business leadership on sustainability and climate action.
Commenting on the partnership, Lloyds Bank’s managing director of sustainability & ESG finance Jonas Persson said: “It’s clear that a more sustainable economy promotes the UK’s long-term prosperity, while helping to make our planet more resilient. UK businesses have the chance to power and accelerate this transformation, and seize the huge opportunities presented. We work with our clients, not only to help finance this transition, but also to understand the challenges they face and the business prospects they look to capitalise on.”
