In this hour-long episode, we analyse the big talking points from the COP22 climate talks, with the help of two people who were involved in important discussions on the ground in Marrakesh.

First, edie’s senior reporter Matt speaks on the phone with the Carbon Trust’s Tom Delay live from the Moroccan city, to discuss how COP22 has progressed from the hugely successful COP21 talks at the end of last year, and the impact of the newly-enforced Paris Agreement on international climate action.

Then, edie editor Luke sits down with Asia Pulp & Paper’s Aida Greenbury, who had just returned from the COP22 talks, where she was discussing the different approaches to managing the carbon costs of deforestation. Greenbury also provides an update on Asia Pulp & Paper’s zero-deforestation progress, one year on from edie’s visit to the firm’s operations in Indonesia

The podcast episode concludes with edie reporter George providing his stand-out ‘sustainability success story’ of the past two weeks.
