Turbidity Monitoring

Orbisphere Limited are able to supply the full range of GLI turbidity and suspended solids monitoring instruments. The best selling product is GLI's Accu4 Low-range Turbidity System for measuring the ultra-low turbidity levels found in drinking water treatment and semi-conductor production.

The Accu4 system is ideal for use by water treatment facilities trying to meet the strenuous requirements of the Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule, individual filter and combined effluent regulations. This product is Frameworked for use by several of the UK’s largest Water plc’s. This advanced system uses GLI’s patented, four-beam ratiometric measurement technology, which complies with USEPA-approved GLI Method 2. The Accu4’s optical technology assures high measurement accuracy and stability. This patented system eliminates measurement errors due to light source aging and sensor fouling that are inherent in conventional turbidity systems. Verifying calibration is simple using GLI’s patented Cal-Cube secondary calibration standard. This turbid glass cube remains stable for years.

Continuous monitoring in low-turbidity drinking water

  • The Accu4 uses US EPA approved GLI Method 2, a four-beam ratiometric method.
  • Unparalleled measurement accuracy and stability
  • Verify calibration quickly and easily with GLI’s patented cal-cube glass cube. This cube provides a factory certified,
  • 100% reproducible calibration value, and is unaffected by light, temperature, and aging.

Higher-turbidity monitoring for various treatment processes in drinking water and wastewater

  • The 5324 uses US EPA approved GLI Method 2, a four-beam ratiometric method.
  • Falling Stream technology provides years of maintenance-free operation.
  • Unparalleled measurement accuracy and stability
  • Verify calibration quickly and easily with GLI’s patented turbid glass cube. The cube provides a factory certified, 100% reproducible calibration value, and is unaffected by light, temperature, and aging.
