NEF: Improving the use of energy in buildings

Presenting this slideshow to delegates at Sustainability Live 2015, the NEF’s technical director Malcolm Hanna focuses on the key points for planning and implementing an energy management strategy.

Hanna is a carbon and energy management professional with more than 20 years’ experience in energy and sustainability across various sectors. He has a broad experience of the opportunities and barriers associated with managing energy across complex organisations and projects.

His particular expertise come in developing low-carbon solutions for existing building portfolios and he has substantial experience of energy efficient design, procurement and operations.

This presentation details exactly why a business needs an energy management strategy, the key steps that are needed to be taken to effectively implement it, and the additional energy-saving opportunities that may arise along the way.
