The site’s list of current UK planning policy guidance is the first of its kind and Nick Raynsford, Planning Minister, hopes that it will be a useful tool for local authorities, planners, developers, academics and the wider public.
The new site lists guidance contained in:
- Departmental Circulars
- Planning Policy Guidance Notes
- Minerals Policy Planning Notes
- Regional Planning Guidance Notes.
Key statements to Parliament on planning issues will also be included on the site, as will a list of research reports and best practice advice published by the UK Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR).
