President of PepsiCo UK & Ireland, Richard Evans, outlined plans to move towards developing healthier products and more sustainable food production when he was interviewed in the ‘Meet the Boss’ slot of the Today programme.
He talked about the PepsiCo business in the UK and his ambitions for the future of the company to business reporter Nick Cosgrove.
Mr Evans talked about the ‘possibility’ of developing crisp packets from potato peelings.
PepsiCo is due to publish further details of the plans in its Sustainable Farming Report, which is due to be launched on October 19.
