Winning one of these awards gives a company or project a touch of kudos which sets it apart from its peers, making it stand out from the crowd and even acting as a unique selling point.
It also gives staff a justifiable feeling of pride if the quality of their work is recognised by those outside the company.
The 2008 awards for environmental excellence will be held at a first class awards dinner at London’s Natural History Museum on Thursday 13 November 2008.
Confirmed judges include Dr Liz Goodwin, chief executive of WRAP, BRE director Dr Peter Bonfield, the Tyndall Centre’s Prof Peter Stansby and Prof Tom Stephenson, head of applied sciences at Cranfield University.
