WSR Recycling won the 12-month contract following a competitive tender process, with the purchasing decision being made on value for money and the breadth of services that could be provided.
With a recycling recovery rate that is consistently above 80%, WSR Recycling was able to prove its ability to meet Bramall Construction’s KPI targets, underpinned by an in-house fleet of waste collection vehicles that could ensure a rapid response to changing site requirements.
Bramall Construction’s senior buyer, David Taylor, said: “WSR Recycling are making a significant investment in their own facilities, which will enhance an already impressive waste processing facility.”
WSR Recycling’s managing director, Mark Trousdale, added: “Having taken the time to understand the needs of Bramall Construction, we look forward to exceeding expectations when it comes to the contract KPIs and to forging a long term and sustainable waste management relationship.”
