CSR reputation rates high among employees

Research carried out by exhibition organiser UBM found that 88.1% of respondents would prefer to work in an organisation that stands by its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments.

Almost the same number agreed that the company they currently work for reflects their personal values – an important attribute when considering a new employer.

The research also revealed that 77% of businesses support at least one charity, but just 54% run a volunteering programme while 30% had a matched giving scheme.

The findings reflect the growing importance of CSR across all areas of business – from staff retention to winning more customers.
