The Copenhagen talks, officially titled COP15 for the 15th meeting of Conference of the Parties, will take place between December 7 and 18.
The talks are the biggest environmental event since the Kyoto talks and have described by British prime minister, Gordon brown, as one of a: “very few moments in history when nations are summoned to common decisions that will reshape the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet for generations to come.
“When leaders have to consider not just what will deliver fairness in their generation, but fairness between the generations too.”
