Energy management in the 2020s: To net-zero and beyond

Due to the escalating Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, our Energy Leaders Club Industry Briefing was not able to take place as a live event on Thursday 26th March. But we’re not letting that stop us! The edie team and our event sponsors Inspired Energy and UK Power Network Services have acted quickly, and we are proud to be delivering the panel discussion in a virtual, webinar-based format.

This webinar will take the form of a lively Q&A-style panel discussion. Our panellists will discuss how energy managers are responding to the climate emergency and harnessing the momentum of the net-zero movement; and discuss the “known unknowns” of deep decarbonisation across industry.

We will also explore some of the biggest challenges currently facing business energy – including behaviour change, policy uncertainty and energy infrastructure – along with the biggest opportunities over the coming years – including data optimisation, the internet of things and smart energy systems such as demand-response and battery storage.

PLEASE NOTE: Chatham House Rules will apply for this webinar discussion. Under these rules, participants are free to use the information from the session, but neither the identity, nor the affiliation of the speakers, nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
