European Investors launch sustainable real estate securities fund

The Fund, called the Global Sustainable Property Fund, aims to take advantage of growing investor interest in environmentally and socially sound companies.

It will focus primarily on global equities of companies involved in the ownership, management, development and financing of commercial and residential properties that strive to meet sustainability requirements.

Co-founder and president of real estate investment firm EII, Christian Lange, said: “Sustainable Investment is one of the key themes for the twenty-first century.

“Companies that can combine economic, environmental and social objectives not only minimise their risks, but may also enjoy significant competitive advantages,” he added.
