HVFlo keeps track of water flow

Earlier this year, Pulsonic Technologies secured a contract with Scientifics, which has experienced Field Teams providing a tailor-made integrated package of tests to meet the special requirements the rail industry’s Traction & Rolling Stock Maintenance depots.

When Scientifics was awarded the Network Rail contract to monitor the effluent discharge from all its depots, it turned to an industry specialist in monitoring and sampling.

The Scientifics hire contract was the first of its kind for Pulsonic and was successfully carried out with the monitoring of all water flow undertaken by its HVFlo, a high-performance battery-operated open channel flow monitoring solution for wastewater, storm water and industrial discharge applications.

HVFlo features Pulsonic’s field-proven Doppler velocity and level measurement sensors. Advanced spectrum signal processing allows HVFlo to produce superior results under a wide range of hydraulic operating conditions – even under full pipe, surcharge or reverse-flow conditions.

According to Pulsonic, HVFlo produces accurate, repeatable results every time and offers optional telemetry interface for long-term monitoring applications.

With the successful partnership now finalised, Pulsonic is now taking on further hire contracts in various other fields.

Pulsonic is a specialist in flow monitoring, with various open and closed channel

monitoring.

The company says that HVFlo offers optional telemetry interface for long-term monitoring applications. Communication is made possible by using PSTN or GSM allowing remote diagnostics and data downloads.
