Environment Agency guide: Complying with ESOS

The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is an energy assessment and energy saving scheme, estimated to lead to £1.6bn of net benefits to the UK, with the majority of these being directly felt by businesses as a result of energy savings.

The Environment Agency, as scheme administrator is responsible for guidance, communications, helpdesk and collection of notifications of compliance throughout the UK. The regulators are individually responsible for checking compliance and enforcement activities in relation to qualifying participants
