No time to waste!

According to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 45% of our emissions are associated with raw materials and the products we use every day. To reach Net Zero targets, businesses will need to target both energy efficiency and renewables, as well as efficient resource and waste management.

This 3-hour CPD accredited training workshop will furnish businesses with the tools to develop a roadmap to prepare for the circular economy and maximum resource efficiency, including a key action plan to achieve Zero Waste to Landfill.

Workshop facilitators

The workshop is run by Beyondly’s two highly experienced resource efficiency consultants, Chris Smith and Charlotte Davies, accredited as a Chartered Waste Manager with CIWM (Chartered Institute of Wastes Management) and an Associate of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment), respectively. Both are committed to enabling and supporting businesses wishing to improve their environmental impact through waste optimisation and be more engaged with the circular economy.

Benefits for businesses and individuals

Knowledge is power. Completing this workshop provides many benefits for businesses, as well as the individuals taking part from a personal development perspective. The need for businesses to reduce their environmental impact, minimise waste production and achieve a circular economy is paramount to mitigate climate change. This workshop will furnish delegates with the key insights and tools a business needs to start and progress its resource efficiency journey to support this shift, as well as generate commercial and financial benefits.

The workshop will provide individuals with 3 hours’ worth of CPD time, and a certificate of attendance will be received following the workshop to evidence this. The CPD term is used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities.
