TENDER NOTICE: Procurement of Research Projects to Deliver a Reduction in Household Waste Originating From the Retail Sector

WRAP will fully fund the eligible project costs of successful applications. This research will form part of the Waste Minimisation Innovation Fund whose target is to reduce household food and packaging waste originating from the retail supermarket and convenience store sectors by 310,000 tonnes by March 2006.

Project activities eligible for support include: prototyping; pilots and trials; consumer testing; innovation in product design and packaging; product dispensing systems; and sales and distribution channels.

Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a proven track record of successful research programmes and initiatives, excellent project management, data collection, analysis and report writing skills, key market, product and industry expertise, and an understanding of the policy and environment in which WRAP operates
