Water show in the pipeline

With only a few days to go, this is the last moment to get tickets for the Sustainable Water Management conference at the show.

The event, part of the Sustainabilitylive! eco-shows, will showcase the latest in water technology innovation as well as giving visitors an insight into the shifting legislative and business landscapes of the water and wastewater sectors.

Not-to-be-missed highlights include Environment Agency chairman Sir John Harman giving his views on the future of England’s water environment, while the omnipresent issue of water scarcity will be tackled by Jacob Tompkins, director of water-saving NGO Waterwise.

Meanwhile another of the high profile speakers scheduled for the IWEX conference, Water UK’s chief executive Pamela Taylor, will explore the effects of climate change on the water industry and some of the issues around the energy costs of reaching ever higher water quality standards.

The IWEX exhibition runs from May 1 to May 3 at the NEC in Birmingham.
