Best practice focus on retail supply chain and electronics

Electronics and the retail supply chain join 13 areas already benefiting from the support of the ETBPP. The Programme has already led to savings in excess of £62 million per year for UK companies through waste minimisation techniques, whilst reducing their environmental impact.

Martin Gibson, ETBPP programme manager told IEM, “There is a lot of good work going on in each of these areas and we want to spread best practice across the sectors.”

The Programme has also launched a new website that will allow users to download its publications in pdf format. Visit www.etsu.com/etbpp/ for access to the vast number of industry specific waste minimization guides and case studies. ETBPP’s free helpline can be reached on 0800 585 794.
