Coca Cola promotes recycling with giant artwork

The clifftop image was unveiled at the start of the UK’s Recycle Week and according to the company its aim is to remind everyone that small changes can still go a long way to improving the environment.

The lead artist for this inspirational piece of recycled art is sculptor Robert Bradford, who has created the ‘Bombus Bee’ sculpture in the Eden Project and the Big Ben Coca Cola Sculpture in 2008.

The image is over 100m long and made up of over 200,000 aluminium cans.

Coca Cola UK won last year’s edie award for Best Waste & Recycling Project.
