IRELAND: UK environmental group takes over EEL

EEL’s directors will stay on under the merged Irish operations and RPS’ existing staff, based in Belfast and Cork, will be integrated with EEL. EEL has recorded a 40% growth in turnover between 1997 and 1999.

RPS’ Cork office has recently received several commissions to undertake environmental impact statements (EIS) on behalf of Galway and Cork county councils. The commissions relate to plans for bypasses and other road building projects.
