London NHS Trust cuts water usage by 30%

Under the AquaFund grant scheme, supplied by water management company ADSM, the Trust has received access to water saving technologies, consultancy services and site audits.

It has also benefited from water data and tariff analysis and on-going water monitoring.

The initiative has generated cost savings for the Trust, which AquaFund has partly donated to WaterAid.

ADSM director Patrick McCart, said: “With many areas in drought, it is more important than ever for all organisations to reduce their water consumption.”

ADSM is set to work in partnership with Barts and the London NHS Trust until the end of 2012.
