Taking up the role is Mike Carr, who has experience and expertise in technology and research management.
In addition to his latest appointment, Mr Carr is currently a member of the Government’s Technology Strategy Board (TSB), vice president, trustee and fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and non-executive director of Ordnance Survey.
