The Grant SQ1600 helps Hospitals in achieving NHS tests

The SQ1600 is currently being used to check the performance of industrial washing/disinfecting machines before they are despatched. The Squirrel data logger is used to validate the washing and disinfecting cycles in the machine which are then sold to the healthcare market for cleaning surgical instruments and holloware (bowls etc.)

The tests are dewscribed in a document called ‘health and technical’ memorandum 2030′ (HTM 2030 for short) issued by our NHS. These requirements are to monitor the temperatures under various conditions i.e. loaded, unloaded. The temperatures are then checked to ensure they meet recommended disinfection temperatures in the load and at varios points around the washing chamber.

The SQ1600 was chosen for its simplicity of operation and high accuracy when monitoring temperature.
