Heil supplies PFB with RCVs for major fleet expansion

Paul Knibbs, National Sales Manager for PFB Self Drive plc, comments: “We continue to use Heil Europe because of the reliability of the product and great back up service.”

The Powerlink, manufactured by Heil, provides flexibility for RCV fleets. With its full-cycle compaction mechanism, it is stated to produce less friction than conventional channeled compaction systems, thus ensuring that a greater force is directed into the load. The reduction of friction increases durability of materials, improving whole life costs.

Additionally a newly designed hydraulic system is stated to improve performance, with reduced downtime; lower maintenance costs and less risk of environmental pollution. Heil offers a variety of options for body sizes on the Powerlink with cubic capacities of 16 to 26m3.

The Powerlink is also available with a curved shell body, which offers clean, uncluttered lines, and allows large customer decals to be fitted easily without the need for

additional signboards.

Maintenance on the new Powerlinks will continue to be carried out by Heil
