News Release: Pakawaste Limited supply John Crane UK Limited with Waste Solution

John Crane Limited, world leaders of engineered sealing systems based in Slough, has recently bought an MX600 'mill sized' vertical baler from Pakawaste Limited, the UK's market leader in the manufacture and supply of waste handling equipment.

Following a comprehensive waste audit Pakawaste’s technical team was able to recommend the installation of a MX600 ‘mill sized’ baler to deal with cardboard and plastic and general waste generated.

Once the waste at John Crane Ltd has been baled into mill sized bales, the waste is taken to Fibre Fuels ‘waste to energy’ plant where it is made into pellets to generate energy.

This method of waste disposal is not only more cost effective but also is kinder to the environment as there is no need for waste to be sent to landfill. This method also reduces costs as landfill tax is avoided.

Prior to the installation of the MX600 mill sized baler waste was emptied in a 35 cubic yard portable compactor and emptied approximately once a week.

The MX600 ‘mill sized’ vertical baler is the largest baler in Pakawaste’s vertical baler range and reduces volumes by up to 80%, minimising the amount of space required on site for waste storage. Suitable for baling both cardboard and plastic, the MX600 is ideal for users who have large quantities of waste to be removed from site. The MX600 baler is extremely easy to use, is CE marked and meets all relevant health and safety requirements.
