Scotland strengthens pollution prevention laws
Scottish ministers have this month created new laws aimed at tightening the rules around pollution prevention.
The Pollution Prevention and Control (Designation of Classification of Substances and Mixtures Directive) (Scotland) Order 2010 came in to law in June in Scotland only.
The law brings classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures in Scotland in to line with European Union standards.
