Episode 80 of the Sustainable Business Covered podcast sees the team record live during day one of edie’s flagship and award-winning Sustainability Leaders Forum.

During this episode, Richard Howitt the former chief executive of the International Integrated Reporting Council discusses sustainability and investor relations and recaps on corporate progress to align with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Then, Erin Meezan, Vice president and chief sustainability officer, Interface is on hand to discuss how some corporates, including her own, are moving beyond net-zero to set carbon-negative targets and what this means in terms of business transformation.

Following that, Michael Alexander Global head of water, environment, and agriculture sustainability at Diageo and Ruth Romer private sector advisor for WaterAid sit down to discuss how a five-year partnership between the charity and the drinks manufacturer has delivered impressive holistic and sustainable change to combat water scarcity. The two of them then go on to offer the key ingredients in delivering successful collaboration.

Finally, edie speaks to Emma Keller, head of food commodities at WWF to look at how businesses can fix a broken food system.
