Brought to you in association with energy supplier SmartestEnergy, the 45-minute session will provide much-needed context for making a net-zero carbon commitment, and will break down how to choose the right energy options for your business on the road to net-zero.
The masterclass will also feature a real-life case study from property consultancy JLL, which recently announced a commitment to become a net-zero emission business by 2030. JLL will explain how it is working with SmartestEnergy to adapt and enhance its energy strategy to meet that goal.
Speaking for JLL will be David Mead, who has spent 10 years with the business delivering on its ambition of buying renewable electricity for its clients (and itself). All contracts placed via JLL are on 100% renewables. Most recently he secured a deal through SmartestEnergy to source the energy for JLL’s corporate offices from a named PV generator without entering into a long term PPA.
The session will conclude with a live audience Q&A, allowing registrants to ask specific questions to SmartestEnergy and JLL about the key energy challenges and opportunities facing businesses now and in the future.
