Start the New Year with celebrations at edie's Sustainability Leaders Awards
edie's award-winning Sustainability Leaders Forum and Sustainability Leaders Awards are ready to recognise excellence in corporate sustainability, with organisations still able to book tickets for next month's prestigious virtual ceremony.
Now in their 14th year, edie’s RSA-accredited Sustainability Leaders Awards recognise excellence across the spectrum of green business; from the best efficiency programmes through to product innovations, from stakeholder engagement and social sustainability initiatives to the people on the ground who are making change happen. The scheme is the UK’s largest and most prestigious sustainability awards initiative.
Recognise the excellence, reward the innovators and celebrate the very best in business sustainability with the leading names in the private and public sectors - join us at the online edie Sustainability Leaders Awards Wednesday 3 February 2021! Cost is £50+VAT per ticket, which includes access to the live virtual ceremony, event brochure and a special guest appearance that is yet to be revealed.
Our panel of 18 independent expert judges recently met for a virtual day judging where they whittled down hundreds of entries to the below shortlist. This includes a number of new categories that were added this year to widen the scope of the awards – including Net-Zero Carbon Strategy of the Year, Green Recovery Initiative of the Year and Business Leader of the Year. Sustainability leaders forum
edie's flagship Sustainability Leaders Forum has built on consecutive Bronze accolades at the annual Conference Awards by being awarded Silver in the coveted Conference of the Year category. The Conference Awards 2020 celebrate the best forums and conferences that bring together bespoke audiences. edie’s Sustainability Leaders Forum was recognised with the Silver award in the UK Conference of the Year category.
Having evolved from a face-to-face event to a new, virtual experience, the Sustainability Leaders Forum 2021 will allow delegates to "choose their own adventure", with a plethora of session themes including net-zero strategy, sustainable investment, supply chain innovation, regeneration and biodiversity, and achieving the SDGs.
Confirmed speakers across the three days (2-4 February) include Nando's chief executive Colin Hill, World Green Building Council chief executive Christina Gamboa, Sky Bigger Picture director Fiona Ball, and Pernod Ricard's vice-president of sustainability and responsibility Vanessa Wright.
Standing out from the crowd of online events, the Sustainability Leaders Forum will be a truly collaborative experience. Innovative "speed networking" technology will connect delegates based on ticket types via video chats, while co-creative workshops will be professionally facilitated to deliver tangible outputs. Additionally, virtual exhibition booths will showcase some of the cutting-edge technologies and services that will shape the decade of sustainable business action.
