Sustainability Skills Seminars: edie introduces educational final day to Sustainability Leaders Forum
edie's award-winning events team has organised dedicated "Skills Seminars" to run on the third and final day of the Sustainability Leaders Forum (2-4 February), educating and empowering sustainability and CSR professionals to lead on climate action in 2021.
Taking place on 4 February, the Sustainability Skills Seminars will be packed with inspirational presentations and actionable insights to help sustainability and CSR professionals develop their skillsets and take on new responsibilities this year.
edie readers who register for the Sustainability Skills Seminars can gain 25% off their tickets by using the code “SKILLS” via the booking page (this only applies when purchasing the skills masterclass ticket alone).
Hosted in connection with the Sustainability Leaders Forum 2021, the Skills Seminars bring together sustainability and CSR professionals of all levels for an intensive half-day of keynote talks, panel debates and practical masterclasses – all focused on closing the sustainability skills gap and enhancing professional development.
Seminars will focus on an array of skills and career development areas – from communication and team management through to career mobility and innovation – with experts speakers from the likes of Virgin Media, Tesco, Capgemini and the ICRS.
Sustainability Leaders Forum
Coca-Cola, Heineken, Ikea, ING, Sky, Willmott Dixon and Zalando are among the headline brands that will feature at edie’s biggest event of the year – the Sustainability Leaders Forum – which takes place as a global, virtual event on 2-4 February 2021.
Under the ambition of Together We Can, the Sustainability Leaders Forum will be a collaborative online experience; combining powerful keynote talks with interactive panel debates and co-creative workshops – all dedicated to inspiring courageous, collective action to solve the climate crisis.
Having evolved from a face-to-face event to a new, virtual experience, the Sustainability Leaders Forum 2021 will allow delegates to “choose their own adventure”, with a plethora of session themes including net-zero strategy, sustainable investment, supply chain innovation, regeneration and biodiversity, and achieving the SDGs.
Standing out from the crowd of online events, the Forum will be a truly collaborative experience. Innovative “speed networking” technology will connect delegates based on ticket types via video chats, while co-creative workshops will be professionally facilitated to deliver tangible outputs. Additionally, virtual exhibition booths will showcase some of the cutting-edge technologies and services that will shape the decade of sustainable business action.
