Edie turns spotlight on green building

Edie has been covering green building issues since the website was launched over a decade ago, but the rising prominence of sustainable construction and the greening of existing buildings has led us to give this field more attention than we have in the past.

To better reflect this, we have decided to split our Contaminated Land & Construction channel in two.

Contaminated Land – still an important sector of the environmental industries – will now have its own channel, with more focus on specific cases and the challenges facing those who have been tasked with their remediation.

The Green Buildings channel will cover the construction sector and work being done to improve the environmental credentials of existing buildings.
