#SustyTalk is all about keeping edie’s loyal readers connected to sustainable business leaders across the world, whilst reminding us all that sustainability and climate action must go on through the current Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. It launched in the early stages of the pandemic in 2020 and has continued since then.

The latest episode sees edie’s senior reporter Sarah George in discussion with L’Oreal UK & Ireland’s sustainability director Natalia Agathou.

Conducted to coincide with the UK’s Women’s History Month and edie’s Business Leadership Month campaign, this interview sees Agathou recapping her career and providing her advice for other women looking for purpose-led careers.

Agathou joined L’Oreal UK and Ireland in August 2021. The role is her first in-house sustainability role in more than eight years; she has spent most of the last decade advising others and enabling partnerships through work at Enclude in the Netherlands and, then, at ReLondon.

As such, she brings great insights to the table on knowing how to hone your skills, identifying when to make a career shift and effectively communicating with a range of stakeholders.

Please note that this interview was recorded during the week beginning 28 February, meaning that International Women’s Day and edie’s Sustainability Leaders Forum are spoken about in the future tense. They have now concluded.
