Optimal for On-Site Energy Generation
Northern Power Systems' Launches the Next Generation High Output NPS 50-24 Wind Turbine. The Benefits: 20 YEARS STABLE ENERGY COSTS, MEET CARBON REDUCTION TARGETS, FINANCIAL GAIN OF £500,000 OVER 20 YEARS, GENERATE 253,000 KWH ANNUALLY @7M/S
Next generation renewable energy technology company, Northern Power Systems is bringing a new distributed wind product to the UK market, designed to meet the UK’s distributed energy market demands. The NPS 50-24 wind turbine comes in at the top of Ofgem’s sub 50kW banding and is ideal for commercial and industrial businesses with high energy requirements looking to reduce energy use and costs and benefit from the higher Feed in Tariff incentive rate. Optimal for on-site wind energy generation, the NPS 50-24 is a sub 50kW version of the industry leading permanent magnet direct drive (PMDD) distributed wind turbine platform used on Britain’s leading 100kW wind turbine.
Designed to Optimise the Feed in Tariff Income
National Sales Manager of Northern Power, Iain Hardie said: “We want to make sure that our future clients are able to effectively curb their energy costs, by covering their on-site demand and export of the remaining energy generated to the grid. Investing in the NPS 50-24 allows you to optimise the Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) income, by using the maximum rated turbine capacity (49.9 kW) within the incentive band. The NPS 50-24 delivers best-in-class Annual Energy Production, coupled with lower cost of ownership. The wind turbine pays for itself quickly and will generate a healthy income stream over its 20+ year life.”
Iain Hardie continued: “The NPS 50-24 can make a significant contribution to securing the viability and future sustainability of businesses in the UK, as well as providing future protection from projected annual rises in energy costs. Our new wind turbine is especially beneficial to businesses who are looking to generate at least 50% of the energy they require on-site. Not only does this reduce reliance on the national grid network for electricity but reduces operating costs, and improves the bottom line.”
