Eco-friendly fairground coming to Cork festival

Among the range of shows and rides during the 21-day festival across the city, an area of fairground folk and fantastic tales will hide some eco-secrets, reports travelvideo.tv.

Sensazione is a theatrical fairground run by Belgian companies Laika and Time Machine.

Audiences follow the performers from location to location and enjoy the array of custom fairground rides which are all made from recycled materials.

In another environmentally-friendly initiative, all the energy to operate the rides, including the lighting, come from the patrons of the funfair.

The unique Cork Midsummer Festival offers performance and events throughout the city and combines the best of local, national and international presentations.
