Libya builds five composting plants for household organic waste

According to the Pan African News Agency, Libya is encouraging the creation of waste processing and recycling companies, citing that one tonne of household waste that undergoes separation and composting of the organic content produces 21kg of fertiliser for a production cost of US$30.
