Resource Revolution wall creates 'manifesto for action'

Sustainability professionals queued up to leave their mark on a special Resource Revolution wall in a united call for action to accelerate circular economy thinking.

The wall, which was on display during last week's Sustainability Live event in Birmingham, provided a platform for visitors to the Resource Revolution stand to voice their thoughts on how best to enable change in what is an exciting, transitional time for the waste industry.

Our Resource Revolution campaign, sponsored by FCC Environment, has captured the imagination of the sustainability community at large, and the wall generated a lot of interest as people stopped to write messages of support and motivation.

Some of the memorable quotes left included:

"The revolution is not for turning"

"Ability, Doability, Capability, Feasibility, Operability, Maintainability, Bouncebackability, Sustainability"

"Waste is just what someone calls an object"

"Don't go with what is convention, think outside of the box"

"Legislation drives innovation"

"Let's think about inherited waste"
