The Government of Bermuda RFQ Notice

The Government of Bermuda (Government) is developing a new seawater reverse osmosis desalination (SWROD) plant at Tynes Bay in Bermuda. The first phase of the SWROD plant is planned to be operational in 2007. The Government is seeking a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested teams to provide detailed submissions outlining their capabilities to undertake a design build or design build operate SWROD plant at Tynes Bay. The Request for Qualifications will be issued on July 11, 2005, and the closing date of submission is August 5, 2005.

The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Document may be examined and/or requested at the Ministry Works and Engineering and Housing, Third Floor, Global House, 43 Church Street, Hamilton, HM12, Bermuda. Respondents will be provided one set of the RFQ at no charge. Requests shall be delivered to:

If a prospective Respondent requests that an RFQ be delivered, the Respondent should e-mail Bengül Kurtar with the Company Name, address, phone and fax numbers, and Principal Contact. The Respondent’s shipping company and account number should also be included with the request.
