US could ban Concorde if Europe bans hush-kitted planes

The US House of Representatives has passed legislation to ban Concorde from landing at US airports if the European Union (EU) goes ahead with plans to ban from its airports US planes using engine mufflers called hush kits. The EU says hush-kitted aircraft perform worse than current production airplanes in terms of noise and air pollution.
